Training

Registration in the Northern Territory (NT) is through the recognition of interstate registration, recognition of overseas qualifications and practical experience, or by completion of a professional training agreement within the NT.

Overseas qualifications assessment

Applicants with overseas qualifications must first have their qualifications assessed by the Board to determine their suitability for a registration in the NT or a professional training agreement.

To start the process, follow these steps:

Step 2: Await the Board's assessment. The Board will then provide information on the next steps to obtain a registration.

Professional assessment examination

Due to the low number of applicants, examinations will be conducted as required.
